On June 5, 2017, Jamie Greer was presented he Bob Barr “Enthusiologist” Award by YMCA Camp Kern. This service award is given annually to an area volunteer who best exemplifies Bob Barr’s vision of service to the Greater Miami Valley. Jamie retired from the Camp Kern Board of Directors in December of 2016 after serving 13 years. During his time on the Board he served in several capacities including Board Chair, Strong Kids Chair, Golf Committee Chair, and as a member of the Centennial Campaign Committee. Prior to joining the Board, Jamie served as the Great Chief of the Oakwood Indian Guides and Princesses Program which promotes bonding between Fathers and their sons and daughters through outdoor experiences. During his time as Great Chief, he reorganized the Oakwood Nation and grew it from 12 families to over 100. He is proud that the Oakwood Nation has perpetuated itself and remains strong 18 years after he took it over in 1999.
Matt Suellentrop, another attorney at Bieser Greer, continues to carry on the tradition as a current member of the YMCA Camp Kern Board.
