| Nov 11, 2016 | Company-News

Nadia A. Klarr has joined Bieser, Greer & Landis as an associate.

Ms. Klarr is a recent graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law where, in addition to graduating near the top of her class, she participated successfully in moot court, wrote for and served as an executive editor of UD’s Law Review, acted as a research and teaching assistant to multiple faculty members, and served on leadership boards for four different student organizations.  She held a position on the law school’s Honor Council and was selected to serve as a Dean’s Fellow to mentor and facilitate learning communities for incoming law students. Over the course of her law school career, she took jobs as a law clerk for two common pleas court judges and the Ohio Attorney General, as well as an externship with a Federal District Court Magistrate.  She graduated with institutional academic honors and received an Intellectual Property Concentration with Honors and a Pro Bono Commitment Award for completing 120 hours of pro bono work during law school.

Ms. Klarr plans to practice in the areas of business litigation, labor law, and intellectual property law.  She is a member of the Ohio, Federal, and Dayton Bar Associations.

“In her interviews, Nadia struck the partners of the firm as incredibly bright and confident in her abilities,” said Joe Oehlers, partner at Bieser, Greer & Landis. “During the months that she clerked for us prior to the bar exam, she lived up to expectations and impressed everyone with her intellect and work ethic.”

Ms. Klarr is a native of Michigan and graduated from Hillsdale College where she majored in Rhetoric and Political Science and participated on a nationally ranked speech and debate team. She currently lives in Huber Heights with her husband and two children. Outside of practice and family, she enjoys finding new places in the Dayton region to explore and she is a loyal Detroit Tigers fan, a coffee connoisseur, and an avid writer and blogger.  She is the founder of The DeNovo Review, a blog dedicated to leadership and development advice for young professionals, and she enjoys being involved in the Dayton community.
